RIMS’ on-site clinical staff are careful to provide help without disrupting the student’s schedule. The staff also schedules meetings at the family’s convenience.
Preventing serious crises
With RIMS’ on-site presence, there is collaboration among parents, teachers and staff to proactively address classroom behavior and discipline. This approach promotes the student’s academic success, and supports their social and emotional needs.
If a student is struggling with serious mental health problems, this on-site approach allows staff to identify the problems and respond quickly. This is critical in preventing a crisis from occurring.

RIMS staff also help coordinate benefit eligibility, transition from school to work, housing, and programs to build social skills – all to help nurture the child’s growth, learning and safety.
